Our beautiful Mothers & Daughters all came together on Thursday 11th May 2023 for a celebration at Palmer Sea Reef Resort. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room as everyone saw the collection of portraits alongside the letters written by the Mums to their daughters. It was really beautiful to see everyone enjoying the exhibition and feeling the collective love.
As we took some time to view each Mother & Daughter’s Portraits on the big screen, I invited them up individually to read out their letters. This is when the tears really started to flow! It was truely a moving experience and exactly what I dreamt of when I started this project. The connection of each family and their love for each other was felt by everyone and as a group I feel it was a really powerful experience to share this with each other.
A huge thank you to the lovely staff at Palmer Sea Reef for making our night amazing. Everything from setting up, to welcoming guests, serving the most beautiful platters and overseeing everything to make sure we had the perfect night.
The night really was about celebrating the experience and each other - so I don’t have many photos to show as that wasn’t my priority, however I have a few from the group added below.
The Mother & Daughter Portrait Collection Magazine is in print as we speak and due for arrival around the 27th June 2023 - giving us the opportunity to get all emotional again as everyone receives their copy in print.
